GALLATIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Sumner County teacher was suspended without pay after being charged with aggravated sexual battery and assault.
A Sheriff's detective charged Shafer Middle School teacher, Rob Ring, with two counts of aggravated sexual battery and two counts of simple assault.
Details of the incidents were not released.
School officials said Ring was suspended, pending the outcome of the criminal investigation.
Ring was held on a $25,000 bond.
