As a part of the launch of his Sirius XM channel, Garth Brooks has announced he will be playing his first concert at the Ryman Auditorium.
Brooks took to the historic stage Thursday night.

He held the exclusive concert in honor of the XM channel, and said he was excited to play music in the "Mother church of country music."
Garth said the very first song he played would not be his own. Instead, it was a tribute to the great venue itself. The show also featured a duet with his wife Trisha Yearwood.
Tickets were given away to subscribers through a lottery.
