MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WTVF) — A gas line that ruptured on Belinda Parkway in Mt. Juliet has been repaired. The rupture happened at a construction site.
Following the gas line rupture, Belinda Parkway closed between Providence Trail and Hidden Cove Road, Mt. Juliet police said in a tweet.
The rupture also caused the sheltering of Primrose School of Mt. Juliet, as well as the evacuation of Providence Animal Hospital.
Piedmont Natural Gas crews were dispatched to the rupture to repair it. Belinda Parkway and nearby businesses are back to normal operation.
