LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - The Fairness Campaign says it has about 250 volunteers ready to march in its annual Kentuckiana Pride Parade in Louisville.
The group is an advocacy organization for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender rights. The Fairness Campaign says thousands are expected to march in the parade on Friday in downtown Louisville.
Special guests will be some of the plaintiffs whose case for same sex marriage has gone to the U.S. Supreme Court.
The parade's grand marshal is Shane Bitney Crone, an activist and producer of the documentary "Bridegroom."
The parade begins at 8 p.m. A second parade is planned for Saturday at noon.
