The ninth annual Gingertown build at the Adventure Science Center took a medieval turn this year, as architects created the Gentertown "Kingdom."

Each year Nashville architecture, design, engineering, construction and development firms create a village out of gingerbread.

The event raises money for the Hospital Hospitality House, Ronald McDonald House, The Next Door, Adventure Science Center and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

This year, they created a large-scale, medieval village in gingerbread, frosting, cookies and candies. It featured things like Gingerella’s Castle, Spearmint Jousting Arena, Licorice Landing, King Arthur’s Ale House, Gingerbread and Breakfast and Dark Chocolate Dungeon.
