FRANKLIN, Tenn. – A Good Samaritan found a considerable amount of cash in Franklin and police want to find its rightful owner.
Officials with Franklin police said Wednesday that the cash was found at the CoolSprings Galleria.
Authorities have now reached out to the public in hopes of finding the owner.
It was not known when the cash was apparently lost.
The person can claim the money by visiting Franklin Police Headquarters on Columbia Avenue on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Police said phone inquiries will not be accepted.
No additional details were provided.
