GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A fire destroyed a home in Goodlettsville overnight.
The incident happened around 4 a.m. Wednesday on Cambridge Court. Firefighters said a resident was able to get out safely.

At one point, flames could be seen shooting from the roof. The fire was so intense, crews had to attack the blaze from the outside.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
