GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Goodlettsville man has more than 400 nativity scenes inside his home.
Michael Harris has been collecting Nativity scenes for more than 50 years. He says it started as a child when he would help his grandmother display her nativity set and his aunt took him to church at Christmas.
Now, the wise men in his nativity collection – made of glass, metal and wood – decorate four rooms and a hallway of his home.
He’s now up to 425 and gets emotional about why each one is so important to him.
It takes him a month to set them all up and so far this season, he's given 200 tours. He opens his home on Sunday afternoons in December.
