Governor Beshear: 8-month-old among 35 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Kentucky

FRANKFORT, Ky. — Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear announced that Kentucky's confirmed cases of COVID-19 has risen to 35, including an eight-month-old in Jefferson County.

"That kiddo is in good condition, is being treated at home and right now, everything is all right," Beshear said of the eight-month old. "This is very rare in what we have seen in the coronavirus."

According to LEX18, other new cases identified were an 88-year-old woman in Bourbon County, a woman in Jefferson County (no age given), another individual in Jefferson County (no demographic given) and individuals in Fayette County, Warren County, Clark County, Kenton County and Franklin County (patient in 60s).

A 33-year-old female in Fayette County, who tested positive was not included in the 35 because she is believed to be a New York resident.
