Governor honors veterans on Vets Day

Five Tennessee veterans were recognized by Governor Bill Haslam for their hard work and dedication.

Each year, Governor Haslam takes time to recognize state employees who have served their country and their state in an outstanding way.

Those honored were, Park Manager Angelo Giansante, Human Resources Manager Don Coleman, Correctional Officer Paul Nielsen, Transportation Manager John Briggs and Veteran Resource Coordinator William Houser.

Haslam also took time to honor the more than 470,000 thousand plus veterans who are living in Tennessee.
