NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Governor Bill Lee began his first week in office on Monday, making at least one public appearance and continuing to try and fill key cabinet positions.
Governor Lee's inauguration was in Nashville on Saturday. He comes to the office with no political experience but said during in interview at a Martin Luther King Jr. event that he's starting to focus on specifics for his political agenda.
"It's all new and exciting ... the biggest challenge are the things that I want to get done," the Governor said.
Lee and his wife welcomed nearly 2,500 people to the Governor's mansion on Sunday. He's expected to give his state of the state address in February.
