No one was hurt when a gun discharged during an attempted armed robbery in Nashville.
The call came in around 5 a.m. Tuesday at the Hickory Creek Apartments on Vultee Boulevard.
Officials on the scene said the victim had just come home from work when another man attempted to rob him at gunpoint in the hallway.
A struggle ensued, at which point the victim got ahold of the gun. A shot went off as he threw away the weapon.
No one was hurt during the incident. The suspect has not yet been apprehended.
