Two gunmen are on the run after police say they shot a man in South Nashville.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday at the Stone Brook Apartments on Hickory Trace Drive.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said two men first tried to rob the victim on his way home. Investigators said they then shot him in the left bicep.
The victim was taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center for treatment.
One suspect was wearing a grey pullover and the other was wearing a black jacket. Witnesses said the suspects fled in a silver car.
