HARTSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations have released information that a Hartsville man has been indicted on multiple counts of rape and aggravated statutory rape.
TBI Special Agents, along with deputies with the Trousdale County Sheriff’s Department started investigating allegations involving the rape of a minor at the request of 15th District Attorney General Tommy Thompson, on January 31st.
The investigation led to information regarding Ricky Presley, 25, and showed that he was responsible for engaging in sexual contact with a minor on multiple occasions between May and June 2018.
The Trousdale County Grand Jury returned indictments charging Presley with five counts of Rape and five counts of Aggravated Statutory Rape on Wednesday.
He was arrested Thursday and has bee booked in the Trousdale County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
