NASHVILLE, Tenn. – One of the founding partners of the public relations giant McNeely Pigott & Fox, Mike Pigott, died Monday from a heart attack.
He was 61-years-old.
Pigott was known for his work on several high-profile projects such as the Titans move to Nashville and the YMCA of Middle Tennessee.
He helped create the McNelly Pigott & Fox firm over 25 years ago.
Before public relations, Pigott was an award winning investigative reporter and political editor for the former newspaper, the Nashville Banner.
He served on the board for Safe Haven Family Shelter and was part of the advisory council for Hands on Nashville.
Pigott was from Cleveland,Ohio and moved to Nashville after graduating from Purdue University in 1976.
Funeral arrangements have not been made available.
