BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (WTVF) — A heater may have been the cause of a large house fire near Brentwood Thursday morning.

The call came in around 10 a.m. on Stonegate Place, located just off Franklin Pike. The Nashville Fire Department responded to the two-alarm blaze.

The fire may have been caused by a heater on an enclosed back porch. A woman says she was inside when she heard a loud pop. When she went outside, the porch was on fire.

Flames quickly spread to the attic and throughout the home.

One firefighter was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center due to high blood presser. No one else was hurt.
