A Hendersonville man has been placed behind bars. He’s accused of raping and giving alcohol to a minor.
Reports stated 30-year-old Michael Sharer has been charged with rape and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Police responded to a report of a rape involving a juvenile on Otter Glenn Drive Friday, and Sharer was taken into custody.
He has been scheduled to appear in court in about a month. Police have not released his photo at this time.
