HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Hendersonville man has been arrested for violating the conditions of his bond by living with his rape victim, Hendersonville police said.

Michael Sharer was arrested in July 2018 for the rape of a minor. During the ongoing investigation into that incident, investigators learned Sharer had recorded a sexual act with the minor. Sharer was charged with aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.

Officers were attempting to serve the arrest warrant on Sharer for that charge, when they found him living with the victim from the 2018 rape arrest. Sharer's bond conditions prohibit contact with the victim.

Sharer is charged with aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and violation of bond conditions. His bond has been set at $165,000.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Hendersonville Police Department at (615) 822-1111 or Hendersonville Crime Stoppers at (615) 573-5400.
