Hendersonville Police make arrest in Hickory Run Apartments robbery

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A robbery that took place at Hickory Run Apartments on Thursday has been solved, as officers with the Hendersonville Police have made an arrest in the case.

According to officials, 22-year-old Stevonte McGee of Nashville has been arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and is now being held at Sumner County Jail.

The robbery was first reported Thursday evening after a female victim was robbed of her purse at gunpoint while walking from her vehicle to her residence at the 1000 block of West Main Street in Hendersonville.

McGee is set to appear in Sumner County General Sessions Court on Wednesday, June 26. His bond was not known at the time the release was sent out by Hendersonville Police.
