Officials with the Hendersonville Police Department asked for the public's help in their search for a missing and endangered man.

Tom Daniel Thompson was last seen around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31.

Angela Woods said she misses her brother.

"Notify the police, anonymous, it don't matter. If you've seen him or know anything, we want him found," Woods said.

Thompson went to the hospital on Halloween with his girlfriend.

"He said that he was hallucinating, and she said that the doctor would be in shortly, and then he said somebody was after him and he took off running out of the hospital," Woods said.

Thompson's sister and girlfriend rode all around Hendersonville looking for him.

"My daughter and my best friend and his girlfriend was out here hanging flyers and started walking and looking around and came down the trail, and that's when they found my brother's boot," Woods said.

Police said three articles of clothing were found by Drakes Creek at Memorial Park.

That's over two miles away from the TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center.

"They started searching first thing this morning and brought dogs out," Woods said. "They found his second boot out here where the yellow tape stuff is."

Police marked those spots with crime tape.

"The dog sensed him coming into this area of water, but not sensing him coming out," Woods said.

Anyone with information on Thompson's whereabouts has been asked to call the Hendersonville Police Department at 615-822-1111, the Criminal Investigation Division at 615-264-5303, or Crime Stoppers at 615-573-5400.

"I haven't had sleep," Woods said. "I've been constantly wondering, 'Where could he be? What is he doing?' Especially after we found his boot."

Thompson was living in the Goodlettsville area prior to the incident.
