NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The NewsChannel 5 Network has partnered with Belmont University and The Tennessean to host a televised mayoral debate ahead of the August 1 election.

The event is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday at Belmont’s McAfee Concert Hall.
It will air live on NewsChannel 5 and will be streamed on NewsChannel5.com.
News Director Sandy Boonstra said NewsChannel 5 is “excited to once again be partnering with the Tennessean and Belmont University.”
The last day to register to vote is July 2. Early voting begins July 12 and runs through July 27.
