A Hermitage church reached out to the local homeless community by providing new coats and hats, and a chance to get a haircut and a warm meal.
The New Beginning International Ministry Church converted its building into a store where people could shop for donated items for free. A barber and manicurist were also on hand to offer their services for free.
There were no problems finding plenty of jackets, even if this was a first-time event. The pastor said he'll hold similar events in the future.
