NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A Davidson County man has been arrested after officials said he possessed and distributed child pornography.
Officials with the Nashville Police Department said 30-year-old Damion Faulkner, of Hermitage, was arrested on January 3. They said the suspect is believed to have taken pornographic photographs of a five-year-old girl, who is the daughter of a relative, and distributed them via email and the Internet.
According to investigators, Officials with the Vancouver Police Department in Washington found that a computer IP address linked to a child pornography investigation in Washington State was registered to someone in Nashville.
Detectives said the ongoing investigation found that Faulkner may have distributed the emails to other states, as well. Authorities in those locations are now conducting their own investigations.
The suspect has been jailed in lieu of $300,000 bond.
Anyone with information about Faulkner's involvement with any other children in the Nashville area is urged to contact Detective Adkins at 862-7540.
