MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – A Nashville man was arrested in Rutherford County after a high-speed chase led investigators to an alleged drug dealing operation.

WGNS Radio reports Kyfarie Jamale Wagner was arrested after a Murfreesboro police officer noticed a suspicious car and tried to make a traffic stop.

At that point, police said Wagner allegedly sped away, all the while throwing baggies of drugs from the car window.

Initially officers lost him, but then found the car at a home on Fairview Street.

A search inside found the suspect hiding in an upstairs bedroom. In that same room, officers reportedly found drugs, crack pipes, digital scales and a large amount of cash.

A young child, who had apparently been left alone, was also found in the home. DCS was called in to help with the child.

Wagner was booked on a long list of criminal charges.
