A longtime organization that supports the homeless community is showing its Predators pride through custom-made pins.
For the second year, Room In The Inn is giving away free "Stand With Us" and "Nashville Wants The Cup" pins made by its men and women.
"We love making buttons, so we do it to help us tell our story," Room In The Inn Executive Director Rachel Hester told NewsChannel 5. "We are proud of our hometown heroes, and they're more than our neighbors, they're actually our friends."
So far they have created 1,000 pins.
"We want to help spread kindness, and this is a simple way to do that," added Hester.
The organization has made a special bond between the team and the Nashville Predators Foundation.
Hester said the team helped kick off a lunch program where they cook and serve meals to 300 people once a month.
When fans throw hats onto the ice during a hat trick, the Preds donate the hats to Room In The Inn.
Anyone can visit Room In The Inn at 705 Drexel Street between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. for the pins.
