ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (WTVF) — A homicide investigation has gotten underway in Cheatham County after a man was found shot to death.
Deputies were called to a home on Bryant Road in Ashland City around 4 a.m. Tuesday, after 911 got a call from a man asking for help. They arrived and found the victim dead from gunshot wounds.
Three people, including the victim, were in the residence at the time of the shooting.
Two people were being questioned in the case. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was also assisting.
Officials said there isn’t any danger to the public.
Cheatham County Sheriff's Department identified the victim as 39-year-old Jeremy Tryon.
Deputies say an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
Sheriff Mike Breedlove said Tuesday the investigation is continuing and murder warrants are expected to be filed soon.
