Iconic pop-rock band, Hootie & the Blowfish will be bringing their Group Therapy Tour to Nashville in 2019.

The foursome made their tour announcement on NBC's TODAY this morning. The tour will include the original members of the band, along with direct support from another nineties musical group, Barenaked Ladies.

This tour will begin in May and will continue through September, with the Nashville show taking place on September 7, 2019 at Bridgestone Arena.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, December 7, with special pre-sale options available to some. Click here for more.

This group of talented musicians first became friends and band mates when they were all attending the University of South Carolina but it wasn't always smooth sailing.

“Once the four of us met and started playing shows, we toured for years before signing a record deal,” lead singer Darius Rucker stated.

Dean Felber, bassist, went on to say, "“Having those shows at fraternity houses, clubs and dive bars under our belt prepared us for success to a degree, and it’s something we’re proud of – that we put in the work – but what matters to me the most is that we’re still a band all these years later. We’ve never stopped being a band.”

Now, more than 10 years after their last tour and almost 15 years since their last studio album, Hootie & the Blowfish is back. Check out all tour dates below.
