Tennessee State House Candidate Nathan Massey announced that he would be taking legal action against State Representative Bo Mitchell for slander and blatant character assassination.
The accusations originated from comments Mitchell recently made regarding Massey’s business.
“Bo Mitchell is a bully and has a history of making baseless, reckless attacks on his opponents and this time he has gone too far. I see his latest assault as an attack on my successful business and on my family personally, and for that very reason, I intend to see Mr. Mitchell in court,” Massey said.
Massey also said Mitchell's campaign efforts were shut down late Thursday evening for bribing voters with pizza at an early voting location.
Sources told NewsChannel 5 Mitchell was not shut down but simply ran out of pizza.
