TENNESSEE CITY, Tenn. (WTVF) — A woman has died as a result of a house fire that occurred in the 3900 block of highway 70 W on Wednesday night.
The Tennessee City Fire Department arrived at the scene around 8:36 p.m. where they saw a fire coming out of the front window of the home.
As a crew began fighting the fire on the front porch entry, they discovered the body of a female just inside the front door.
Crews continued the search the home and found the homeowner's dog safe and unharmed.
Currently this fire is under investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.
