A house fire that rekindled overnight in Mt. Juliet may be suspicious, according to investigators.
Firefighters were first called to the home on Vanderbilt Road around 11 p.m. Sunday. They were able to knock down the blaze around 1 a.m.
Officials on scene said the people inside the home saw smoke and were about to get out safely.
NewsChannel 5 reporter Alexandra Koehn arrived to shoot video around 4:20 a.m. and called 911 after finding the home fully engulfed in flames.

One fire official said they were alerted that meth may have been in the home and they are looking into it as a possible cause.
Wilson County Sheriff’s officers have closed Vanderbilt Road as they continue to investigate.
