NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Tennessee Highway Patrol has shared how officers were able to identify the owner of the RV that exploded with a bomb in downtown Nashville Christmas morning.
Despite widespread damage, THP says investigators found a few parts of the RV on scene. A forensics team processed those parts to show enough information to reconstruct the vehicle identification number.
THP worked with the Tennessee Department of Revenue to identify the RV's registered owner as Anthony Quinn Warner.
On Sunday the FBI identified Warner as the suspected bomber and said DNA evidence confirms he died in the blast.
The investigation is ongoing.
