WAVERLY, Tenn. (WTVF) — Human remains were found in Humphreys County Friday morning, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) said.
The body was found near the 800 block of Old Highway 13 in Waverly.
Humphreys County Sheriff's Office is investigating, with assistance from TBI.
They have not yet identified the individual whose body was found, but investigators say they have a lead they're following.
