A man and his long-time girlfriend have died from gunshot wounds at a home on Cliff Drive in what police said appeared to be a murder-suicide.
Authorities responded to the scene in the 3100 block around 6:15 p.m. Sunday.
Officers said a relative reported finding the two shot inside the home. Both had head wounds.
Police said the man, identified as 50-year-old Virgil Taylor, was found dead inside the home. His girlfriend, 43-year-old Latasha Booker, died at the hospital.
The relative reported the couple had fought earlier in the day. Reports stated a pistol was found near Taylor.
Detectives said the investigation remained ongoing.
