NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A portion of Interstate 24 has reopened in Rutherford County after an interstate sign fell on the road.

The sign fell on eastbound lanes after a tractor trailer hit a support pole Thursday evening.

Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers closed the road at Exit 80 for New Salem Highway in Murfreesboro.

Details of the crash or what cause the truck to hit the pole were not released.
