I-24 West reopens after crash closes road in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — All westbound lanes of Interstate 24 in Nashville have reopened after they were briefly closed at mile marker 56 near Harding Place due to a multiple-vehicle crash.

The westbound lanes, left shoulder and right shoulder were blocked.

The crash was reported just after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation and the road was reopened within an hour.

Details of the crash have not yet been released.
