NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Interstate 65 has reopened following a deadly crash involving an SUV and tractor trailer.
The crash happened on I-65 North near mile market 89 and Dickerson Pike just before 7 p.m. Metro Police say a semi-trailer stalled in the middle of the road. An approaching vehicle tried to avoid the trailer but slammed into it.
The vehicle caught fire. First responders could not free the driver, who died in the incident.
