WINCHESTER, Tenn. – Authorities have identified the body of a man recovered from Tims Ford Lake.
Around 7:40 a.m. Thursday, officials with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office responded to Devil Step boat ramp after a body was reportedly seen in the water.
A fisherman told deputies he saw the body floating under the ramp.
The victim was identified as 48-year-old Vernon Odie Wadford, of Winchester.
Authorities said the investigation was ongoing, and further details were not released.
