Nashville is getting an IKEA by summer of 2020, officials have announced.
IKEA officials and Mayor Megan Barry revealed the details during a press conference Thursday morning. The store will be located off Interstate 24 in Antioch at Hickory Hollow Parkway, located just south of Bell Road.
The store will be 341,000 square feet in size and will be located on 36 acres. That land is part of the Century Farms development and the project still needs permit approval.
The IKEA in Nashville will be the second store in the state, but the company has 390 existing locations worldwide.
