NASHVILLE, Tenn (WTVF) — If you're looking to plant some permanent roots in Music City, the Nashville Tree Foundation has a giveaway you may not want to miss this month.
Beginning Friday, the Nashville Tree Foundation is giving away free trees.
The program began today at the Nashville Farmer's Market. Neighbors popping by were able to take home 1 gallon containers on a first come-first served basis. If you don't want to miss out, you can even reserve tree in 3-gallon containers.

The Nashville Tree Foundation works to preserve and enhance the city's urban forests by planting trees in urban areas, identifying the oldest and largest trees in Davidson County, and educating the public about the value of trees.
