The Eastbound lanes of Interstate 24 in Davidson County were closed due to an incident at the 440 junction.
According to Tennessee Department of Transportation officials, it happened at Exit 53 just after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Details of what caused the closure were not released.
The road is expected to be cleared by 9 p.m.
