ANTIOCH, Tenn. – An injury crash involving a motorcycle backed up traffic Thursday morning along Murfreesboro Pike heading into Antioch from La Vergne.
The incident happened in the northbound lanes near the intersection of Hobson Pike.
The crash blocked nearly both lanes of northbound Murfreesboro Pike. Traffic moved slowly as it was diverted around the wreck.
At least one ambulance and two fire trucks responded to the scene. It was unknown if anyone was transported.
At one point, traffic could be seen backed up all the way into La Vergne.
Two high schools are in the area, which made the backup worse for commuters heading into Nashville from Rutherford County.
No additional details were known.
