A Kentucky inmate has been indicted on a 1st degree murder charge for the death of Dominque Rutledge.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said 21-year-old Rutledge was shot during an argument inside a home on Jones Avenue in Nashville on February 12, 2015.
Sims was in jail on an unrelated federal gun charge when the indictment came down.
Sims had previous convictions for robbery, burglary, evading arrest, and theft.
