HARTSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Trousdale Turner Correction Center was put on lockdown after a fight between inmates led to one's death.
CoreCivic, which operates the facility, said inmate Frank Lundy was found injured at the housing unit's entrance around 12:45 Saturday afternoon. Lundy was taken the hospital, where he died from injuries.
Lundy's alleged attacker was transferred to Tennessee Department of Correction custody. He will be held in restricted housing.
The TBI and TDOC's Office of Investigations and Compliance are investigating the incident.
