Inmate Escapes From Kentucky Correctional Facility

A manhunt has gotten underway in Kentucky after an inmate escaped from a correctional facility in Paducah. 

Kentucky State Police officials said 28-year-old Charles A. Richards, of Winchester, escaped from the Keaton Correctional Facility at 8:30 p.m. Sunday. 

The staff realized he was missing after a head count. 

Richards was described as being 5’09” tall with blonde hair and blue eyes. It’s not clear what he was wearing at the time of his escape.  

He was serving time for manufacturing methamphetamine.
