LWRENCEBURG, Tenn. (WTVF) — An inmate walked away from work released in Lawrence County, prompting a county-wide search.
Offcials said Carl David Wunner Junior walked away from his worksite Friday afternoon. He was last seen in the area of East Scott Streen in Lawrenceburg around 3 p.m.
Wunner was serving a sentence for burglary but had garnered the privilege of work release and was working with a crew from the city’s Parks and Recreation Department when he left on foot.
Anyone with information on where he could be was asked to call the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department at 931-762-3626 or Lawrence County Central Dispatch at 911.
