International Women's Day celebrated in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Women from across the city celebrated International Women's Day at the Parthenon.

Mayor David Briley spoke to the crowd and signed the Every Woman Treaty. It's a global treaty to end violence against women and girls.

International Women's Day celebrates the economic, cultural and political achievements of women and works to bring women together.

Of course, with every Music City celebration, there was be live music and tasty food and beer. It ended at 10:30 p.m.
