MANCHESTER, Tenn. - Interstate 24 was reopened after being closed due to a crash involving hazardous materials in Coffee County.
The wreck happened around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday in the westbound lanes near mile marker 123, about six miles before the Wattendorf Memorial Highway exit.
Authorities said the crash involved a tractor trailer that was hauling hazardous materials. No injuries were reported.
The roadway was completely closed to both westbound and eastbound traffic. Drivers were being diverted at exits 127 and 117.
