Police have asked for the public's help to piece together what exactly happened in a fatal crash over the weekend.
It happened on Highway 31 in Bethpage.
Officers have continued a criminal investigation into the wreck that killed 23-year-old Sarah Peery and her 55-year-old father, Michael Peery.
Authorities said Sarah was driving southbound when she swerved to avoid hitting a car and crossed into the northbound lanes where she was struck head-on.
Investigators asked anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward and help give them details.
