SMYRNA, Tenn. (WTVF) — Authorities have detained two people in connection with an “apparent shooting” near Smyrna.
The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office said a driver died in his car around 10 a.m. Monday off Corner Drive.
A deputy later spotted a vehicle at Pioneer Drive, located off Old Nashville Highway. Investigators detained two suspects for questioning.
The victim's identity wasn't immediately known. The investigation remains ongoing.
