NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A popular midtown market has been sold, making way for a new, mixed-use development.

The developer paid $2.4 million for the longtime home of J and J's Market and Cafe at the corner of Broadway and Lyle Avenue.

The footprint for that project also includes the adjacent building that's currently home to the Noshville restaurant, and the former home of Manuel American Designs.
